Dr. Ronald Parris

Dr. Ronald N. Parris believes that everyone deserves to live an optimal life in which there is “NO room for pain” it is also why he established the Parris Pain Center in early 2012. Dr. Parris is board certified in Anesthesiology and fellowship trained in Pain Managment. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University Of Chicago Hospitals and served as a Fellow in the Department of Pain Medicine at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Upon working closely with tenured and experienced clinicians in the industry Dr. Parris has developed a reputation for being among the best in the area of pain management and advanced pain management procedures.

His practice philosophy includes having an interactive relationship with his patients that involves education, diagnostic evaluations and prescribed therapies. He supports a versatile treatment process for wellness to achieve the best possible results for his patients. He is the Medical Director for Critical Patient Care, a diagnostic assessment company that provides Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) testing.

Dr. Parris has extensive diverse experience as a clinician in various roles such as Clinical Associate, Assistant Professor, and Staff Anesthesiologist at some of the most prestigious medical institutions in the US; The University of Chicago Hospitals, Loyola University Medical Center, and The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Parris has been a contributor and collaborator in research with numerous abstracts related to the field of Pain Management and Anesthesiology. His professional society activities and memberships include, Houston Medical Forum of which he serves as Vice President, American Society of Anesthesiologists, and International Anesthesia Research Society.

Dr. Parris is a native of Philadelphia. He is married and enjoys his life with his wife, Cindy Parris and three children in Bellaire, Texas.
